Classes for March:
Beginners Patchwork and Quilt - 5 week course Cost $100
Lap/cot quilt in the trending gingham block pattern
Instructor: Deb Paterson
Skill levels: beginner
Times: Wednesdays 9:30-11:30
March 6th, 13th, and 27th and on into April
During the course you will learn the whole process of creating a quilt – cutting, pressing, piecing quilting and binding.
Come in and see our quilt pattern made up in the shop.
Learn your Sewing Machine - Cost $75 per lesson
Instructor: Deb Paterson
Skill level: complete novice or someone who hasn’t sewn since high school.
Times: 9:30-11:30am Thursday 7, 14, 21, or 28 March
Bring your machine along and learn the basics to get you started. Spaces Limited. You can book a machine if you don’t have one. Create a fabric envelope as you develop your skills.
Learn your Overlocker - Cost $75
Instructor: Maree Williams
Skill level: beginner or someone who hasn’t sewn since high school
Times: 10:00-12:00 am Tuesday 5, 19,26 March
Bring your machine along and learn the basics to get you started or use our machine instore. Spaces limited. You can book a machine if you don’t have one.
Learn your Embroidery Machine - Cost $75 per class
Instructor: Maree
Skill level: beginner or refresh your skills
Times: 10:00 -12:00am Monday 18 and 25 March
Learn how to set up your embroidery machine. Learn the basics - machine needles, stablilisers, applique, hoop setup, quilting in the hoop. and on screen editing.
Maxi Tiered Dress
Instructor: Maree Williams
Skill level: Learn the basics of dressmaking
Time: 10:00-12:00
Cost: $60 (includes pattern drafted for you)
Interior Design - Cost $75 per class
Tutors: Maree and Roslyn
